It seems to me that if a companies business is going into the red, the CEO shouldn't pilfer
in the form of bonuses and salary millions of dollars while his ship is sinking.
If he is a bungling incompetent leader he should leave with no bonuses or salary.
I am amazed they are not prosecuted or just thrown in jail.
During the French Revolution, there was the guillotine. Might this be an effective
tool in assuring that the CEO is in a position of public trust and in that position of
public he/she must be held to the highest of standards. Standard that would pass
strict scrutiny of all their actions in the name of the hallowed position of public trust.
